Dear "Clement of the Glen": I believe you are one and the same "dgetz" who contacted me about Perce Pearce. Perce was born in my hometown of Waukegan, Illinois, and his family and my Talcott family were very close. I
actually had never met Perce but knew his sister as my Aunt Isabelle. Every year that a Disney
movie came out, I would receive 7 tickets from Him..signed Walt and Mickey! His family was very prominent and lived in a huge stone mansion on a large corner. When he was a boy, Perce would draw cartoon stories for his friends and post each one of them in a window of his large home! He later met Walt when they were both artists doing their drawings on the boardwalk in Santa Monica. I am so glad to read the tribute to him to acknowledge him as one of the early contributors to the world of Disney magic! Just before his death, Perce was preparing to launch the television series "The Wonderful World of Disney". Thanks again and many wishes for a magical and wonderful new year to you, thou Clement of the Glen"! xxx Judi Talcott Rogers

Thank you for your regular comments and input Mike! Good luck with your new movie and keep going with your beautiful paintings!

Judi, it is fantastic to hear from you again. It is wonderful to read your recollections of Perce Pearce. Over the last five years I have found it almost impossible to find any information about this Disney legend, even though he played such a huge part in the making of so many of those classic movies. I would like to think that it is partly due to my digging around and commenting on various Disney Forums and websites that finally there is some work being done on a new book about Perce Pearce and as soon as I find out more I will let everyone know!
